Whether you are experiencing your first few days on campus or are a returning member of our Aggie community, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022-2023 academic year at Texas A&M.

The new academic year always feels like a fresh start - a time to explore new opportunities, establish goals and set priorities. For me, each new year brings an optimistic sense of potential, where anything seems possible. This sense of promise is what I hope for each of you.

This is also a time of remarkable potential for Texas A&M, with advancements being made across every aspect of our enterprise. Building on our Aggie values and traditions developed over our nearly 146-year history, I am confident we are poised for success. I look forward to sharing my vision for this great university in the State of the University on Wednesday, September 28, at 3 p.m. I hope you will join me. A formal invitation will be shared soon.
