Howdy!

Congratulations on a great first half of the semester. Spring Break is upon us – which means an entire week away from classes, assignments and exams. Whoop!

Whether you are traveling or remaining on or near our campuses next week, I hope you take some time to relax and recharge from the daily hustle. You deserve a break from all your hard work! But … I’m a dad, so allow me to offer some unsolicited, and possibly unnecessary, advice. Sorry, but I can’t help it; your safety and well-being are at the top of my "worry about this" list!

  • Enjoy your break, but make choices you (and the entire Aggie Family) can be proud of.
  • Use common sense – if that nagging voice in the back of your head says, "This is a bad idea," it probably is. That voice is really smart.
  • Know we’re here to help, even during this break. Resources are readily available to help you, whether it's with your health, academics or anything in between.
  • I look forward to seeing your smiling, suntanned/sunburned faces back on campus after the break for what will be an even better second half of the semester.

I know you'll miss us, but travel and play safe, have fun and Gig 'em!
