Committees and Task Forces

Two new committees were formed in 2023 to support continuous evaluation and ensure opportunity for feedback from our faculty, staff and students. The president meets routinely with the committees to support their efforts in assessing and reviewing implementation actions across the university.

Operations Assessment Committee

The Operations Assessment Committee meets twice monthly and is dedicated to reviewing and assessing continuous improvement efforts in the operational functions of the university. The first task of the committee will be to conduct a one year assessment of implementation of the Path Forward initiatives with a report summarizing that work in September 2023. The committee of faculty, staff and students focuses on the effectiveness and efficiencies gained through implementation of new initiatives. In support of the university’s mission to provide transformational education and translational research, they provide recommendations to the president on organizational enhancements by identifying areas of success and seeking opportunities to positively address challenges within operations.
