Members of the Aggie Family,

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules yesterday to join me for the all-faculty, staff and student meeting. If you weren’t able to join us, I hope you’ll take time to watch the recording at your convenience.

I want to reiterate my gratitude to all who shared their insights through the online form or joined us for one of the listening sessions. Following those listening sessions and a review of the nearly 2,500 survey submissions, the quick-look assessment team revised several of their recommendations, which we discussed at the meeting.

I encourage you to read the final report, which includes those revised recommendations, along with my decisions on each item. My decisions on these issues affect all of you, so I want you to know that the final determinations were made with deliberation on the impact to our university community.

I appreciate all you do for Texas A&M and for taking the time to voice your thoughts. As discussed, there are items that will move forward quickly, and we will follow up soon on next steps for implementation. In the meantime, please continue your great work in support of our mission.
