Welcoming Our Graduates Back to Aggieland

Howdy!
I would like to offer my wholehearted congratulations to the nearly 18,000 Aggie graduates from 2020 whose achievements we are honoring at five ceremonies over the next three days.
Last May and August, because of the challenges presented by a global pandemic, the entire university community commemorated your accomplishments virtually. In December, we were happy to again host in-person ceremonies with the option for graduates and their families to join us either at that time or this week instead. While the timing and location of these ceremonies will not be the same, they will share the same spirit – a spirit that connects all Aggies across schools and disciplines, and from generation to generation.
In this extraordinary time in the university’s history, it also seems fitting that we are welcoming our graduates and their families back to historic Kyle Field. We are very grateful for the many people whose tireless preparation has gone into this event to make it possible. We appreciate the commitment of guests to join in these efforts to ensure safety, security and decorum befitting the success and honor of these graduates.
Congratulations to all of our graduates and to their enduring connection to all of the Aggies who have come before them. Together, you represent the very best of Texas A&M. May you always lead lives of selfless service, embody our core values and proudly represent the Aggie Spirit wherever you may go.
Congratulations and Gig 'em!
John L. Junkins
