Howdy Ags!

For more than a century, it has been a longstanding tradition to welcome our treasured families back to Aggieland for Family Weekend. This event is always a wonderful way to express our gratitude to those who have raised and shaped our extraordinary students, and who comprise the extended Aggie Family.

Although COVID-19 will require us to hold both in-person and virtual events, we are planning a wide range of events that everyone can enjoy. Some of you may be looking forward to your loved one receiving an Aggie Ring. Others may be eager to participate in Family Weekend Yell Practice. Yet others may be excited about the Corps of Cadets Review at Kyle Field, or the many athletic events such as baseball versus Alabama, softball games against Auburn, soccer versus TCU or the Texas A&M Track and Field Invitational.

I know how much parents have sacrificed for their children to attend Texas A&M, and how proud they are of their abilities and achievements. All of our parents should be very impressed by their sons and daughters, who every day are making extraordinary contributions to one of the largest and most talented student bodies in the nation.

As we prepare for this important time, I want to recognize our dedicated staff for their extra effort and their hard work in helping us safely bring everyone back to campus. I would also like to thank our parents and students for continuing to support Texas A&M, and let you know that we are delighted to welcome all of you back for a memorable Family Weekend.

Gig 'em,
