Dear Valued Staff,

You deserve to be thanked, and thanked profusely, every day for the work that you do on behalf of this great university. Together with the Division of Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness, the University Staff Council, SSC Services for Education and Chartwells, I invite you to attend Staff Appreciation Week.

February 27 – March 2 will be filled with speakers, a wellness walk, and our President's backyard barbeque on February 28^th behind the Jack K. Williams Administration Building (don't forget to RSVP at the link above).

While these activities do not (and cannot) mitigate the impact felt from the hiring freeze recently announced across the state to include our university from now through August, we can join together in these small ways to thank all of you who are here and do such great work. I hope to see you at one or more of these activities, and I thank the support team who has worked hard to plan them for you.
