Dear students, faculty and staff,

As we approach Campus Muster this evening, I would like to thank all of you whose work throughout the year makes this amazing tradition possible.

Muster is one of our most solemn traditions and the care that goes into it is so reflective of everything Aggies are about – our Core Values, our devotion to one another and our commitment to duty and honor.

It is heartening each year to see how far and wide Muster has spread – nearly 300 Muster ceremonies will take place across the globe, from San Antonio to San Diego, Mexico City to Japan and places in between.

This year we will be calling the names of President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush in fond remembrance of the powerful and enduring affection Aggies share with the Bushes. It will be our great honor to answer "Here" on their behalf.

I look forward to seeing you at Muster. Aggies' loyalty and commitment to honoring one another is so inspiring.

Our heartfelt condolences to all those who lost an Aggie over the past year. We share in your grief, we join you in remembrance, and we know they lived lives of integrity and service, because they are and always will be Aggies.

Here.
