Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Please accept my deepest appreciation for your warm welcome to Marti and me, and for all that you do, day in and day out, to help Texas A&M fulfill our broad missions of teaching, research and outreach.
People are a university’s most important asset, and while you often work behind the scenes and with little fanfare, I recognize the crucial role you fill in helping Texas A&M move forward in all areas.
On this first day of the new academic year, I’d like to reiterate my aim of ensuring that you have what you need to continue your good work and reach even greater levels of service and accomplishment, and my firm commitment that staff are central to my leadership philosophy and decisions.
I look forward to working with you and getting to know you in the months and years ahead.
