Dear Colleagues and Friends,
As we launch another academic year, I want to let you know how much I have enjoyed getting to know so many of you during my visits to each college and look forward to the few remaining college visits this semester.
During the time I have spent listening to you and learning about Texas A&M, it has become abundantly clear that our shared future is bright.
Texas A&M is poised to take a bold step forward in fulfilling our land-grant mission of addressing the grand, global challenges of the 21st century.
I will spend these next few months continuing the learning process and working with you to identify new ways to leverage our strengths, to build in other areas as needed and to find new and innovative possibilities for shepherding ideas to their highest and best impact.
Thank you for all that you do. This is a great time to be at Texas A&M.
