Texas A&M Opens Harvey Disaster Relief Fund

We are announcing a student and employee disaster relief fund to help with small-but-essential, one-time immediate needs. We are calling on the power of the Aggie Network to assist by contributing to the fund to help fellow Aggies.

With approximately 45 percent – or more than 31,000 members of our student body – coming from one of the counties affected by Hurricane Harvey, many students arrived for classes with literally just the clothes on their backs after wading through waist-deep water in their hometowns to get here. Many faculty and staff working to bring normalcy to the start of the school year have done so while dealing with personal hardship themselves.

Your donation can help buy clothes, replace textbooks lost in flooding, and other one-time essentials.

We have collaborated with the Texas A&M Foundation to ensure that all funds are tracked appropriately. Our team will be responsible for assessing needs and providing direct help.

Thank you all! We are the Aggies. The Aggies are we!
