Dear students, faculty and staff:

During this extraordinary moment for our university, we are dedicated to continuing our most sacred and solemn tradition.

Throughout the university’s history, Muster has been an important way to remember and revere the lives of every individual by holding them in our collective memories.

This year we owe a deep debt of gratitude to the exceptional efforts of our devoted Muster Committee. This group of students has worked diligently, passionately and imaginatively, ensuring that although we cannot gather together in person, Aggies will be connected across the world with a virtual ceremony.

Beginning tomorrow morning at 6:51 a.m., I encourage you to log onto this site to join The Association of Former Students 2020 Worldwide Roll Call for the Absent, followed by ceremonies around the globe, all paying tribute to those we have loved and lost over the past year.

At 7 p.m. CDT Tuesday, we all can participate in the online “campus” ceremony, lighting a virtual candle for loved ones along with our global community.

With this year’s ceremony, we have shown that even in the most challenging circumstances, our traditions and values will endure forever. By sharing our sympathies with every family who has experienced loss, we ensure that the lives and the legacies of every Aggie will never be forgotten, but that they will always be with us, and they will always be “here.”
