Dear Aggie Community,

As the citizens of Texas continue to deal with the effects of Hurricane Harvey, I speak on behalf of the entire Aggie community that our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by this devastating storm.

Today I stand in awe of the amazing response from Aggies to this tragic event. It has been an honor to see the Aggie Spirit in action and witness the Core Value of Selfless Service come to life during these trying times.

Here are 100 stories (and counting) of how Aggies are stepping up to aid during Hurricane Harvey.

I welcome you to submit more stories of Aggie heroics as we continue to update throughout storm recovery, and view a brief video highlighting Aggie hurricane helpers.

These efforts, and those surely to come, add to the many reasons I am so grateful to be a part of this remarkable institution and the values it represents.
